Tomi has been studying and teaching self-defense and martial arts since 1995. Tomi holds the rank of Grandmaster in the Filipino martial art called Kombatan. Tomi started studying Kalis Ilustrisimo in 2015 and received his instructor title from GM Ms. Pechie in 2021. Currently, Tomi teaches Kalis Ilustrisimo in Finland at the Lohja Self-Defense School with his wife Ruby.
